President’s Message

Dear Pendleton Chamber of Commerce Members, Community, and Friends,

It is an honor to serve such a historic town through its businesses and organizations that further connect and provide services to our great community.

As my predecessor, Esta Branch stated last year, “This organization thrives because of their efforts, and I feel fortunate to work alongside such an extraordinary team.”  I have worked with many great teams from my years in the Army, but hear me when I say, this is a winning combination. An eclectic group with a synergistic drive to serve your community.   As you review the members that serve on our board, you will see large, medium, and small businesses represented; you will see organizations represented; you will see that a Board that devises itself as the sum of the overall parts of Pendleton’s business world and will be stronger tied to your community and its needs.

While your Chamber has made significant strides in fostering community engagement and supporting local businesses, our job is far from finished, it is perpetual. Utilizing the successfully attended townwide events, networking occasions, sponsorship opportunities, and welcoming new businesses to town, we have contributed to our local economy and various nonprofit organizations, enriching the vibrancy and well-being of our community.

We will continue to relish our rich history while keeping an eye on the future to evolve as the community needs dictate. Working together with the members of your Chamber, the Towns of Pendleton/Markleville/Ingalls, Madison County Chamber of Commerce, and the citizens that comprise our grand community; the future is exciting and there is no limit to what we can achieve.

Thank you for your participation and support!

Here to serve!

Thank you,

Dave Skalon
