Transportation
 Air
- Pendleton has a municipal airport, which
has the capacity to handle large commercial
transportation type aircraft. Horizon Air, a
regional air carrier, provides daily service
to Portland, Pasco, and Seattle.
Road - There are multiple
common truck carriers providing Pendleton
with motor freight service and long haul
capacity. Bus service is available daily by
Greyhound Bus Lines.
Marine - There are two
container / barge ports (Port of Umatilla
and Port of Morrow) in close proximity.
Rail - The local rail freight
carrier is Union Pacific Railroad; they have
a major switching yard in near-by Hermiston.
